Import your certificate and its private key from the webmail settings.
The private key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using your passphrase: it never leaves your browser in the clear.
Your messages go out signed. As soon as a correspondent writes to you signed, their certificate is remembered and you can reply encrypted.
Every signature is validated up to the root authority, with CRL and OCSP revocation checks. A revoked certificate is flagged, not silently ignored.
